Use the cursor keys to move around the map.
At first glance, you might think it's like Ikachan.
However, the code is several steps cleaner than before.

I added collision detection function for hitting a wall.
And a few sound effects too.
It's been a month since I made the textscript

Pals.lzh (16Kbyte)

A tool for managing 16-color/256-color palettes.
It's very personal, so you can't expect it to be very useful...
Maybe there's no point in uploading it.

PixEve ver.1.0

An event placement editor that I've made in one day.
I struggled a bit to create this tool.

Since it pretty much determines what you can do in the game,

I won't upload it.

Next to my character, 100 NPCs are displayed.
Next is wall collision detection.
The functions are no different from my character's.
It's progress, but it's still just a chore...

Pix0204

Making my character jump.
It only involves moving left and right and jumping and you can do it all day.
That's the best part of action games.
If you can't do this, you'll get bored of it before you complete it.

Pix00205
For now, I've made it so that enemy characters can also jump and walk around as well.

Some changes have been made to my character's jumps.
It's now easier to enter gaps of one square with a small jump.
In action games, smooth control is crucial.
PixEve ver.1.1 revises the event data format.
It's now possible to read event placement files for the time being.
There's still no collision detection between NPCs and my character...
Wait, it's 3 o'clock already?!
